Thank you all for the wonderful comments.  This month marks my second year as a quilter,  so when I got the pattern I was so afraid that I couldnt do it.  I am very pleased with myself even with the imperfections.  I love quilting.

Donna, your quilt is wonderful, doubly so, since you are such a new quilter.

Jacy, this is a great idea to store your rulers.  Maybe I need to show this DH...LOL.

Jenna, your rainbow quilt will look great.  Wow I'm amazed you can work all night. I would probably have to unsew most of it in the morning...lol.  I just can't wait to see it done!

Today I finished quilting one of my Mom's quilts.  Just need to sew the binding on by hand and then I will post a picture.

I can't take any credit for the design. All my DH's idea. He laid out all my rulers to figure out what size to cut the plywood, then he arranged them on the wood and marked where to put the screws to hang each ruler. Then he screwed it to the wall. Not hard and if any of your DH's can use a saw and screwdriver they could make it.

Marie, I would send him right over to your house to make you one, but I'm afraid he often just rolls his eyes when I have a "project" in mind for him. Maybe if you baked him cookies first..........

Today I finished "Sarah's Wedding Quilt".  It has many issues, so far from perfect,

Donna, your quilt turned out wonderfully. Even after we have made many, many quilts we still have ones with imperfections. You really did a great job with a challenging quilt, you should be proud!

Angele,  because of the size of the quilt, I havent figured out a place to hang it to take a pic.  Maybe the back fence tomorrow.  But until I do,  here is a pic off the pattern.

Donna,

The quilt is fabulous, your daughter and her husband are going to love it because you put all your love into it.

Remember the words of Scott Adams.

“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.”

This is a Keeper
