Kris, I love your mini quilt for April. So cheerful. Ginny
Cute mini Kris
I worked on my crazy rainbow rows quilt all weekend, even pulled an all-nighter Saturday night.
I get so excited about how things are going, I just keep on quilting. Worked on it all night long, then worked around the house and yard and right back at it Sunday evening. If I didn't have to work I would be a quilter full time!
The red row and orange rows are pieced together, I was working on the yellow row this weekend
Here's the work in progress red and orange rows. This will be completed with a stain glass plan, that is each piece will be outlined in some kind of black trim (lace, velvet, binding, border will depend on size and type of material) and each row will be separated with black webbing as placed in the photo here.
So far, so good
Too cute Kris, I love it!
Welcome Jenia! I love your crazy rainbow rows quilt, it will be beautiful when finished.

Thank you, Marie and Gini
My partner, Jim, loves the idea of me quilting but is amazed how excited I can get about it. I often pull the all-nighters because if I tried to go to bed I would be laying there envisioning what I could be doing.
Besides, staying up late (or all night) just gives you more free time on your weekend, right? Who wants to waste that free time sleeping? lol
Yeah, eventually it catches up to me and I will come home from work one night and pass out on the couch and pull and all-nighter sleeping, haha.
Love you rainbow quilt. Going to be really neat when finished.
Kris, cute easter quilt
Jenia, I love your rainbow quilt. That looks like a great way to use up a bunch of scraps.
I haven't done much sewing the last few days, I've been cleaning and organizing my sewing room, actually more like digging it out.
I mentioned needing a way to organize my rulers and my DH got right to work. Guess I'll keep him!
I love your tool organizer Jacy.
Everything fits so perfectly, that had to have taken some thought. Your hubby did a great job. If I had something like this, I'd probably draw shapes around each one so I could remember where each goes. Now all I need is a wall!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Jacy , your DH did a wonderful thing for you! Mine says I can't put any nail holes in the walls that aren't wood or wallboard I gues I have concrete in basement utility where lower level sewing area is.
Anyway I just finished sandwiching backside nephews quilt what alot of work being on the floor I guess I'm not as young as I used to be. Now I"m thinking about quilting and all of a sudden a ying yang popped in my head. how would that look on squares? My nephew has a tattoo of one. I don't even know what it means. getting ready to make dinner.

This is behind the door, so basically using wasted space.

I really just wanted to hang the bigger rulers/squares that don't fit in the drawer, but he made me pull/dig out every one I owned. It's great though, freed up a bunch of dwawer space. Here's my DS digging out one that had fallen behind the cabinet, He said "you'd better not take a photo of this" The camera was close by and I just couldn't not take the photo!
I love the ruler organizer. That is an awesome idea.
Love the pic Jacy...LOL>
I am in the process of moving all my sewing room to one of the upstairs bedrooms. DH is wanting to tear out the walls in the family room and do some remodeling. Don't want my machines downstairs in the dust zone. Boyo though what a pile of stuff to move to a new room. I think I am going to like it though once I get done moving.
Jacy, how wonderful that you have a husband willing to make such a great ruler holder. It is awesome. Ginny
