Thank you Mary 789 and Melissa for the sweet comments about Aden.  Mom and Dad are working on keeping him more safe now.  He goes to the Dr for a checkup tomorrow.    Ginny

I worked on a table runner all afternoon for my camper trailer. It is one of Jenny Doan,s tutorials and so easy to make. I really needed a break from the queen quilt im making for my DSis. Need to get started on another baby quilt for upcoming baby shower. The Mom- to- be has 3 boys and this one is a girl so pink is the main color. I want to make something special as she is a dear lady.         Susan

MaxNTopeka:
I spotted this poor guy. Looks like he can't wait for Spring to arrive!  He's sat there so long the s*^w is piling up on his tail feathers.

Poor little guy - - - We had a few robins around a few weeks ago, but haven't seen them lately.  Maybe they headed back south thinking that spring won't come this year!!!  I am getting tired of seeing snow falling in CHUNKS!! - - - some have been as big as snowballs.  At least it is getting warm enough to melt some of the snow during the day, only to get more to re-cover the green during the night.  No wonder the robins are confused!

Been making progress on my UFOs.  I sandwiched 4 wheelchair quilts, pinned them, then thread-basted them the last 2 days.  I find it easier to quilt with the thread basting instead of the pinmoors - - - they seem to get in the way.  I put the pins in while the quilt is on the table, then take quilt to recliner for basting.  The pinmoors keep me from getting slashed by the pins.  It is easier to take them out while basting than while quilting.  I don't like the stop and go of removing them while at the machine.  My quilting goes much smoother with the thread - - - if it gets caught in the foot, I just snip it.  The threads have to be removed later anyway. Hopefully I will get 2 or 3 of these quilts done tomorrow ready for the binding.  I also have about 8 or 10 lap quilts waiting for the same treatment - - - enough to keep me out of trouble for a while.

Didn't know there was such a thing as a chipmunk trap.   Boy do I need some, Kris  Tey are causing my stacked cement wall to collapse.

I don't know if they are specifically for chipmunks but they do get into them.

Never thought of the sticky mouse traps.

Ginny:

Angele, That is what I am going to do this morning-- plant flower seeds.  But I don't have to put them in the window for light, last year my daughter and I raised heirloom tomatoes to sell at the farmers market.  We bought 3 large plant light fixtures to put over them and successfuly raised and sold over 300 tomato plants.  Can't say thay we really made any money after the layout we had to set up, but we intended to carry on---- well,  things and life changes in the last year have changed our plans.  So I am going to start some plants for hanging baskets and such.  That's my plan today.   Ginny

Ginny, I think I will get a lamp as Moccha the cat won't leave my seedlings alone.  I need to check this out tomorrow.  Thanks for letting me know that they work.

Really cute mini quilt, Kris!  Do you do one for each month?  If you do, do you have photos posted of them?  That's a great idea for a front door, instead of a wreath.
