Marie:but the last quilt I bound I wrapped the binding around my hand then put it into the front of my V-neck jersey I had on and it worked out perfect for me.
Crud, the binding would just fall to the floor if I tried that. Marie, I think we need a visual of your method.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I kind of wear my binding as i sew it, It feeds from over my shoulder.
Quilting My Rainbow
Donna, your quilts are absolutely beautiful. I especially love the one done with the Asian prints.
As for me, I managed to add one more row to my embroidered flower quilt. I wonder if I'll ever get this one done. I still need to get the pieces cut for the MQ8...maybe today.
I didn't work on a quilt yesterday but did create a Travel Case at a Sit 'n Sew with my Quilter's Guild. The case can be used for sewing utensils or writing utensils. It will even hold my iPad mini! Anyway, I thought I would share it with you.

Really cute and useful...I might have to try one of these. I found that it took me longer to get everything reorganized after the Branson Trip than the packing before hand.

Roxana, love your travel case and the fabric you used!
Hi Roxana, I think it's fun that we both live in a village in arkansas, we both went to our quilting quild yesterday and they were both sewing the same travel case. Small world.By the way I like it, very cute.

For everyone who asked, the pattern for the Travel Case can be found at the following link:

I think we modified the steps a little but the pattern does have a copyright on it. It's a great project and like I said my Mini iPad will even fit into it (course I think I'll make another for it and change up the pockets a bit).
