Nope, just lazing around with the dogs and horses. So gorgeous, I'm wishing I had someone to ride with today.
Joni, I so wished I lived closer I use to go riding as teenager and cleaned the stalls voluntarily so I could ride free.

On this whole copyright thing, my choice is based on how I would feel as the originator of a pattern. I would not mind if someone used a pattern I made, to make items to sell at their local farmer's market, but I would be upset if someone used my pattern in a book, sold the pattern itself, made several copies to give away if I had produced it for sale, or mass produced items using the pattern.
My choice is to respect the creator of the pattern, and not use it for financial gain, if that is what they want. To do so otherwise I would consider theft.
And if Tabberone won't stand by what she has written, why would I want to take that chance?
On a lighter note, I am continuing with my hat patterns, improving on the one I have pictured, and playing with some other ideas. Once I have perfected the pattern to the hat I have in my avatar, I will gladly to share it with friends on this site.

Yep. She sure told me.
I haven't even seen my sewing machine today. I picked up call for a coworker today. I'll be free at seven and maybe I'll get to work on a Harry Potter block or two.
Donna, your work is so beautiful. The quilt is amazing as it is, when you add the border. . . Wow!
Awww thanks Patti, one of the things I like about this group is the way we always praise each others work.
donna, i can't wait to see your quilt with the border on. it will be stunning. are you certain you want to give it away?

Gini, Shall I use Kris's words here?
Kris: If you feel offended that's on you.
Sniping at fellow quilters is childish and that's what Kris (and now you) engage in. ... may I suggest copyright discussions be left alone if you're not able to be called on the carpet when you're wrong. Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen is appropriate in this instance.
This subject is a hot button for lots of people... good, honest designers are hurt by strong-arm tactics (I.e.: false information) from copyright cops.

I'm half-way done with the Christmas quilt that's loaded on my long arm. I told Thea I'd get some photos up this weekend of the progress but, dang, my camera's battery won't hold a charge long enough to take a photo with flash. I think my 11 year old son dropped it.
I'm using some faaaabulous new rulers on her quilt... will post a photos when I'm able!
christine, you need to get your facts straight, prior to your sniping. i agree with your position. kris and i have had the same discussion, but neither of us had felt a need to resort to name calling or bad language. if you feel the need to continue with name calling and bad language, i hope you find another board that appreciates your behavior.
I'm gonna change the subject or try to. I'm thinking the next baby quilt i make will not be pieced but whole cloth quilt . I've never done one. If you have any suggestions I'd be thankful for them. I figure a whole cloth quilt would have to be marked. Should I tape it to table to do the marking?
Christine, I already have piece of mind. The kind that cannot be purchased and cannot be stolen.
LOL Gini, thanks, I have to give it away, it is for my daughters wedding. I chose the pattern because the name of the pattern is "Sarah's Wedding Quilt" and my daughters name is Sarah.
