aw thanks Leslie-
feels good to get something done after such a long break. Now to get to those other UFO's.....but I really like making the tops!
Jacy: It's taken me a while but I finally finished my UFO project for this month. This will be for my DD, should have been for her birthday last year but hopefully I will get it quilted before her birthday this summer.

Pam, I love your quilt. WOW
Pam, I have a friend that made this Mexican star, it is a beautiful pattern and you have done a wonderful job with your color selection.
why thank you! I really liked doing the pattern- am wondering if I can enlarge it and make bigger blocks and a whole bed size quilt of it.
Finished the top of pastel I Spy quilt, cut blocks for second and third I Spy, and started stitching 2nd I Spy. Some advice. Do not count blocks when under the influence of pain pills for an abscessed tooth. Realized when down to the last row of blocks I was one short. All fabric had been put up and the decks cleared for sewing. So back to the drawing board, trying to find appropriate fabric for the last row. Had to repeat one fabric already in quilt because I did not want to frog the tow center rows and rearrange all the blocks. Luckily the fabric had several motifs although the basic colors were the same. If anyone notices I claim humility block. After all, that how mistakes are explained, only God is perfect!
Hope tooth is better tomorrow with the antibiotics and pain pills. Then I can get these 3 done by the weekend. Hopefully quilting next week.
I finished one of the mystery quilts here when I was on pain meds. I am just now getting to the quilting. Oh, boy, what a gaggle of bad points. I didn't t know points could be cut off that much and still resemble a triangle. But I love the quilt, I just laugh as I quilt along and find a really bad spot.

It's good to be able to type again. Had my 2 thumb joints injected with steroids Wed.
O U C H ! Hope it gets to working; better be worth the pain of it! Wearing the hand splint etc. puts a damper on everything.
I have several quilts lined up for binding so hope thumb will allow me to get at them!
