W O W Jacy, Kris, Patti!

Just Wow!

Haven't been on board awhile- rheumatoid arthritis issues/treatments. BUT did finish a Wild one for my husband- he loves these crazy eye bugging fabrics so I made a wall hanging for his studio....navajo print fabrics fussy cut.

Jacy-What  was that pattern's name? Kinda reminded me of a Bargello with a Twist type from Sewing With Nancy. Just stunning, really!

you make blocks by tucking 1/2 sq triangles folded in 1/2 into seam then use glue stick to fold back edge and hold it till you sew it down when you are quilting it. She has some really pretty designs and a book. Oh- it also EASY!!!

Some very nice work being done lately.  I love the snow dyed fabrics.  They look batik.  I have not touched a quilt all week.  Why not?

Her name is Nixie, but I call her White Fang.  She's my new foster dog.  4months, 4.5 lb Chi-Pom mix and wild as the wind.  Fannie loves her, but the cat's been in hiding since Sunday.  Not sure if I'm going to keep her, or just let Fannie teach her some manners, then get her adopted out.  But she is all go all the time.  WIth a full time job, it's hard to crate her when I'm home to do any quilting (or cooking or cleaning).  What have I gotten myself into?

wow indeed!!!  Pam, What type of fabric did you use.  It just jumps off the screen.  Looks like just the fabric I need for my next "hot"color quilt.

WOW, this is a pattern I must buy!  And the colors you're using a out of this world.  You have a wonderful eye for color combinations.  Thank you for posting the photos!

I started a blog about 4 years ago, I have a lot of my photos posted there... I'm working on a Christimas quilt top made by Thea this week, she sent 3 Christmas tops that are speaking to me now.  LOL  The one I've got loaded now says "Oooooo, move a little more to the left...."  I'm doing crosshatching on it to bring out the applique pieces on the blocks.  I'll post photos of Thea's top on here... probably won't get the photos done until this weekend though.

Here's my blog:

Pam, your purple/orange, etc wall hanging is spectacular!  Like glittering jewels.  And the Mexican stars are equally as wonderful but easier on the eyes.

Agnes:
The link I am sharing is for a long arm quilter in northern Manitoba who does a lot of snow dyeing, including backings for clients' quilts. She is also working on a sampler curve it up quilt using her own fabrics. I drool every time I see her postings. http://tamarackshack.blogspot.ca/

wonderful link Agnes.  Her quilting and dyed fabrics are so beautiful.   I like that thick beautiful ice too.  At first glance I thought that might be some of her fabric!

Yours looks really good. I love the fabrics you've used.
