gini: now i need to plan the border.
now i need to plan the border.
Oh, beautiful! I like the ribbon border idea - maybe with greens to pick up the leaves and let the colors of the flowers stand on their own. Will you bring this to the retreat for show and tell?

Yep, it's coming to retreat, NOT in the checked bags. : )

Ok here are my baby quilts I've been working on.
These are the reasons why I didn't work on UFOs this month. They were all in various stages and I just wanted them done. The top one will be heading to a co-worker's grand baby. Number two, I'm not sure if its going to my grand niece or if I'll make the disappearing four patch I'm working on. And the last one has no home yet. To be figured out.
cute quilts angele
Very nice angele. You sure have been busy. I also get that feeling usually in the middle of a quilt that I just want to get it done so that I can move on to the next one. I really like the border fabric on the second.
Angele, I love your baby quilts. Lots of work there!Roxana

Thanks e eryone for the nice comments!
Those are mighty cute quilts, Angele. I am intrigued by the one with the large animals on it. Is it a panel or did you create that yourself? I can't quite tell. Either way I like it. Ginny
Your quilt has a nice old fashioned look to it, the dark background and sashing really do the magic. It is definitely awsome are the flowers applique or embroidery?
hi maryann, thanks you, the flowers are appliqued. it is a quilt we have done together here in the applique group. it is a pattern by P3 designs.
if you go to the applique group and click on any heading with the word wildflowers in it. you will see the different blocks everyone has made.
Gini,, thanks for the info I didn't realize what that "group" section was. I see there is a discussion on the wedding ring quilt,. will spend some time on that when I have a few minutes to spare.
Angele, beautiful baby quilts, love them all. I can give the last one a wonderful home, need my address? : )

Mary Ann, once your DH is finshed with your beehive, you won't have hair in your face anymore. ;D
