Kelly - I see absolutely nothing wrong with your quilting. I like your pattern very much.
I have this mystery quilt on the design board. I'm hoping to assemble it today and then play around with bordering it. It is small -- only 42 x 42", so I thought a 5" border on the sides and 10-12" on top and bottom to stretch it out to make it appx. 50x60".
everybody has been doing great work this winter, so many beautiful projects. I have been working away on my wedding ring every minute i can squeeze into my day, so haven't had much omputer time. I will try to post a pic of my half done quilt top hanging on my hall design wall.

I did take Leah's course and got a lot of great ideas, but wound up using many of the same designs but on other blocks. I used the ones I liked best. Barbara also inspired me to get-er done. She gave me the idea to use which ever quilting design I liked best and for me felt more comfortable quilting. - Thanks Barbara -
I really like the quilt to snuggle with at night while watching TV and working on projects by hand.

My granddaughter, age 19, pieced a small baby quilt to take to a baby shower. She was so proud of it and we met this morning for breakfast. George took a photo of the two of us.
She looked at the photo and was horrified! It was the first time she noticed she had put the top border on backwards. It's all quilted so too late to change. I feel bad because I didn't notice it either and I'm the one who quilted it for her. She didn't notice when she sewed the binding on.
She also told me that if I showed ANYONE this picture she would disown me. "Grandma, I don't have make up on, my eyes are all squinty, I look like a doofus"
You guys aren't "anyone" are you?
Judy, it took me a moment to see what the problem is. No one's going to notice it. It's one of those errors we all make, and they're what make us human and what makes a quilt homemake. Tell you you "cropped" the photo and I say it's a lovely quilt and a lovely gift.
