I've been using a pfaff machine with a clear 1/4 inch foot. Does anyone know if the viking 1+ can also use the little foot? I love using the little foot just wondering if they even make them for viking.
Quilting My Rainbow
I love my Pfaff *big smile*
Are you refering to the 1/4 inch foot?
I'm a material girl....Want to see my fabric collection?
*giggles* I am seeing you trying to sew with a baby dinosaur
IS ,I have a little foot for my Husquvarna, I got it from the dealer. itwas aobut 12 dollars ,or somewhere in that price range.
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Oh Rhonnie, you make me want to cry. I love my Pfaff too, but it is quite old in machine years and was very difficult to get enough fabric out of the way to quilt with, but I would give up alot of things if ony my Babylock Symphony had adt on it. Then it would be perfect. Ginny
vikings have a 1/4 inch foot with a guide on it to butt the fabric up next to. i like it way better than the little foot. the different brands of machines all have different shafts. you can get a little foot for most machines but it has to have a leg that fits your machine's shaft.
gini in north idaho
Gini I use both my 1/4inch foot and the now with the guide. On my Viking the guide is not quite at 1/4 inch, so I need to adjust it every time. Does your foot with the guide sew exactly at 1/4?
Angèle from NWO
i have two of them and they sew at an exact scant 1/4 inch
I will have to go down to my sewing room and check it out. For my foot with guide, I have to move the needle to 1.8 I think in order to get my scant 1/4 inch seam. I love the guide and it helps to sew accurately.
I seldom mess with my machine feet unless I really change my stlyes. If I may ask what is a little foot and what does it do?
it makes a 1/4 inch seam
ahhhhhhh....I love my 1/4 in foot, I have to go get one for my new machine...*giggles* DH had no clue that was important piece of equipment. But since he is scheduled for surgery next Wed It will probably get to wait until after that. But I have made due and figured it out for now temporarly.....

A picture of a "little foot" would be helpful...or of several if that be the case. Thanks.
