What are the foreign posts that look to possibly be in Japanese? Spam? New members? Is it safe to open? Are they translated?
We seem to be getting a plethora of them.
Joni
I don't open those threads. You just never know.

Me too Nana! But that is why I asked, if spam can't they be removed?
They usually are removed. Admin just hasn't seen these yet.
Joni, I did open one of them and then translated it, they are spam

Sorry I didn't see it. I usually catch the ones in the main blog thread. If you see something within your own blog or on a page please send me a message with the link and I can go in and block the user and delete them. Thanks for keeping an eye open :)

Hi Mandy, there are a couple more in the forums
Would hit the "Report Abuse" button under "More" bring it to Admin attention?
No that button is to keep ME in line. I think Leslie put it there.
You thought right Sukochi. roflol
Agnes: Would hit the "Report Abuse" button under "More" bring it to Admin attention?
There is a thread where we report spam to admin.
There was another one but it got buried somewhere.
A previous forum I belonged to had a Bad Post button. Hitting that icon took the info to the moderators and they removed it much more quickly than going via a thread. Actually the forum is still running running two years after the owners told us they would be shutting it down.
In every post on this board, under More, there is Edit and then Report Abuse. There can be other forms of abuse, but if spam isn't abuse of the board in general, what would you classify it as? Maybe I think too much in common sense lines if we can't use this button to report spam but instead have to dig throw hundreds or thousands of threads to find the right area to report spam.
Agnes, i have used the report abuse for spam, and it takes it to admin, i think because the post never showed up in the forums
