Since I should be done with my daughter's quilt by the end of this week I am thinking I would like to give this a try. I guess I can practice scant 1/4 in seams in the mean time while waiting. :)

Nana this sounds great love the idea of a 2 color quilt.  Will be waiting to see more details for fabric as we get closer to the start of MQ#8.

I'm leaning towards black and ????  I'll have to see if I can find what I can find when you let us know how much fabric we actually need :)

Me too Susie, I'm thinking about black and a pale grey or silver color. I wnt this one for my son, so no girly fabrics.
