Now that could be an interesting mystery quilt . LOL
I've wanted to do a 2 color quilt, this should be fun! Now which 2 do I want to use?
Bayla, this will be a wild quilt but oh so much fun! I have actually used some of those in a baby quilt with calmer fabrics. They are so much fun to use!
Angèle from NWO
JudyEE, those Sunbonnet Sue blocks look so cute! I have actually done a memory quilt with my dear friend's DH shirts for herself and her grand son. There is enough fabric left to make at least two more. So have fun. Think of all the memories you are quilting in it!
Ok, now I need everyone to tell me...... Donna, use some other color, not PURPLE. That is my fav and it seems to end up in all my quilts.
Donna who cares if you use purple ,if you love it I'd use it .There are so many shades of purple I don't think any would look the same ..LOL Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Nana,I'm going to have to pass on this one ,but maybe I can do it later, just have to much to do ,But I can be a good cheeleader .LOL Barbara
and yellow, my favorite combination
Hi, I have been a member for years, and never did a MQ online, but I am ready and excited to to try the next MQ.... I will be watchings...for the fabric..
MelodyP MO/KS:I always end up using anything but purple and I love purple! I may just do purple and..........?
Me too love purple, have made others purple quilts, just not for myself. I love dark purples and sky blue together, interesting combo or turquoise. Hmmm maybe that's it!
I am patiently waiting for the instructions as well. Depending on the fabric requirements will depend on whether I can join in or just save the instructions for a time when I have shopping money.
In the meantime, I NEED to get my border done for the RR. That's my plan for today!
Two colour solids? This will be difficult to choose. I do have some blue marble blender fabric I really like, but not sure of what I'd pair with it. Hmm decisions, decisions.
They don't have to be solids. They just need to read as solid instead of print.
I am looking forward to MQ8, and need more of a challenge. I found MQ7 rather easy, but liked how it turned out, I have another one cut out from snowman prints for a cousin in Nebraska. Hope to get it done by next xmas. Can't wait to see how we do on the MQ8!!! bj
