Hi everyone , The Retreat in Branson is just a few weeks away and I do have some opening if anyone is intrested in attending . These retreat are so much fun and it is so nice to meet our fellow QCA members . Wow, a heat wave. It's only 7 here in Fernley, with a predicted high of 26. They say it's going to be like this all week probably.
I'm looking forward to the retreat but not the drive to get back there. I've checked into all of the options, but to stay within the budget I have established for this retreat, I guess we'll be driving. Plan to drive 12 hours a day and hope for good driving weather. We'll be taking the southern route in hopes of missing some of the snow and allowing 4 or 5 days for the drive, if necessary. If we have a good drive and get there early, we'll visit my best high school friend before the retreat. She lives in Elkins, AR just about 1-1/2 hours from Branson, she tells me.
