novice quilter, who always tries the hardest projects first. I have completed 8 quilts over the post 60 years. I only quilt in the winter as I am quite busy on my 40 acre farm. Now that I have retired, caring for the animals in winter gets me out of the house for a bit of exercise away my sewing room.
I raise a big garden feading half the township and hugh flower gardens in the summers. i also have animals:goats, (alpine and boar breeds) ,sheep (shropshires, and shetlands,) rabbits,(red new zealands), steers,( highlanders), this years I plan to add a pig to the barnyard.
I also raise some poultry: geese (White eemdens).and chickens (roade island reds, buff orkingtons, goldens, and white rocks) by sellinf the eggs, the hens are earning their feed.
You are an amazing person, for sure! Hopw you ever have time ot sew at all, is a puzzle to me. I hope you have some time to get on your computer and enjoy our antics. Go through the boards. Look at the groups, but most of all, have fun with this. Also, be sure to join in the chatter when you can.
Have a quilty day.

Welcome Maryann! Whew, I'm tired just reading what you do and still have time for quilting. I know you will enjoy your time here with all the wonderful people we call family. We do much more than quilting, you'll see. Post often, is your Avatar one of the quilts you made? It's beautiful but would love to see a full sized picture of it and any others you've made.
