Jacy:

Today my crock pot is transforming the left-over ham bone into split pea soup, it's a favorite at our house.

Jacy, sounds wonderful, love split pea soup

DH is finally able to grill out!  Yay!  We use wood when we grill, so if it is raining or snowing, we can't. But tonight we can!  Steak, tators, mushrooms, green beans and asparagus!  Can't wait!

Tonight was Subway sandwiches because we worked in the garden all day, and now I have to take the boys to TaeKwonDo.  I would wait until I get back, but DH is diabetic and has a hiatal (sp) hernia so can't wait that long to eat, also has to stay in a sitting position for several hours before going to bed or he has really bad acid reflux.

Today I made a double batch of lasagna, thankfully my DH said it was the best i've ever made so i'm doing a happy dance!  Had some garlic bread and salad too.  Its been awhile since I cooked but our weather was cool today so I wanted to heat up the house.

We had omelettes with veggies from the garden and eggs from the chickies...green peppers, onions, mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli and a little cheese and toast with homemade strawberry jam.
