St Patrick's Day -- corned beef and cabbage.  I cook it in the crock pot.  Costco corned beef and spices with a can of frozen lemonade.  Cook for 2-3 hours on high and then add the carrots, cabbage, onions and red potatoes and cook until very tender.  I learned about the frozen lemonade ingredient from the check-out lady at the grocery store.  Add Guinness Black Lager and fresh bread.  Excellent!

Corned beef and cabbage, of course.  I cook mine in beer, and add potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic.  Served with sour dough bread and butter, because I couldn't find any soda bread here in Fernley and was too lazy to look up a recipe and make it myself.  Lemon bars for dessert and maybe a pistacchio pudding dessert just because it will be green.

Just came back from a walk in the snow. So supper is still a mystery here...maybe pizza? Why? Because its easy to make and I'll have leftovers for my lunch tomorrow.

Making DH's favorite today, a big pot of beans, fried potatoes, and cornbread.  Beans are done, and after I return from Lowe's, I'll bake the cornbread.

I am making swedish potato sausage with some veggies/salad. Our local grocery store makes this fresh and it is so good. I used to make it only for the holidays but now I have been making it more often. It is soooo good!!

I also need some new ideas.  I get tired of the same old thing every week.  Anyone have any ideas?  Maybe some oriental cuisine.

Karla that cornbread sounds great!  Today I'm making mostaciolli and corn on the cob with a salad.

Arzella  I like making pepper steak, usually make it every other week.

Today my crock pot is transforming the left-over ham bone into split pea soup, it's a favorite at our house.

Made DH a rack of ribs and baked potato.  I don't care for ribs so made me goulash.  YUM!  The meat fell of the bones so DH was very happy!  :-)
