Is, when you plan on freezing the chicken noodle soup, don't add the noodles to the soup then. Wait and add them when you take the soup out of the freezer to use. I find tha the noodles don't stand up to freezing and become mush. Ginny

I'm so full, warm, etc. Just made and ate a wonderful lunch/dinner of oyster stew. This cold weather is definitely perfect for it.
Bought some very tasty heirloom tomatoes at Ingles this week and a loaf of delicious sourdough bread. Have been absolutely pigging out on BLT's. I swear this sourdough could give San Francisco a runfor their money.
Watching the International Ballroom dancing today...positively love this show. As a young woman I used to love to Ballroom dance.
So looking forward to Downton Abbey tonite. Missed The midwife this week, got to check online and see if they'll be showing it again. Ready to light a nice hot fire in the wood stove.

Tacos gets pushed to tomorrow DH brought fast burger today. Snowing a ton in Mi. I have put my down comforter on bed so I should sleep good tonight. Ever since we got our flat screen for xmas DH has taken over tv but thats ok I get to be online more or quilting more.
Having spare turkey dinner today. DH will be home to eat. I'm so happy been having great day I hope all of you are too.
i'm just not eating regular with running to hospital, but thats ok maybe I'll lose a pound or two.

We had pork chops & rice in the oven & steamed broccoli tonight. I used to make this with Minute Rice but started to use a long grain rice a few years ago so I have to boil the water first. The chops sit on top of the rice & sink into the water a bit so they come out moist.

I don't like to cook, but love to bake. But since my falls in Sept and Oct., I don't feel like doing either one. So my doctor says I need to hire someone to cook for me. All of your meals sound so yummy, any volunteers to come cook for me???? I enjoy eating especially if there is bread of some sort with the meal. I have too much German in me, I can't give up the bread. One area the doctor and I don't see eye to eye. Help! I need a cook!!
With my hospital runs lately I'm longing for a good dinner. I'm tired of hospital dried out pizza.
Tonight's dinner is chili dogs and ice cream. I made chili this weekend and am floating in chili!

Today were having a dinner sirloin steak salad wax beans. That brings up another silly question from me I've always wondered about in my area I can only find one can manufacturer for wax beans no generics anybody maybe some of you farmers out there what makes the wax beans differentt then green beans beside color alot of grocery stores in area don't even carry the wax beans anybody with a answer to my bean question?
I think wax beans are the same as green beans, just a different color. I like to grow green, yellow and purple string beans in my garden, I wish the purple ones didn't loose their pretty color when you cook them.
