MNnancy: Angele:it rained all day and turned to snow by 3 this afternoon. We are expected to have at least one foot of snow by tomorrow night. It rained all day here, too, and it is still raining. Rain in Minnesota in January is NOT a good thing. I wish it would turn to snow! Have fun building snowmen tomorrow, Angele!

Nancy, it is hard on every thing living or not when you go from about 40 to 0 in less than 48 hours. This is when more and more people get sick
so yesterday... No snowmen :( because it was mostly chunks of ice not nice wet snow...
rain in January is NOT a good thing anywhere north except maybe Vancouver. But here we are like you excited when it hits the 20s before March!
so today is cleaning, quilting and laundry day.

Thea I chose not to have the flu shot also. If I do get sick I stay home from work. I wash my hands a million times a day, working with children you have to. I was not impressed when I was helping a student out of her wheelchair and she coughed in my face! Not happy. But so far so good.
I do believe that if you are reasonably healthy, you can fight the flu naturally. Now my sister was a nurse and she had to take the shot. Now she takes it so she can care for our aging parents, and not bring any sickness in the house.
Cool picture CC!
Marie, did you buy all the other copies of this calendar so we couldn't get one? Lol oh well I guess we will have to wait each month for your Hunk of the Month!
thanks, you made me smile.
Here's what I found on the calendar. I didn't find any place that we could purchase one other than the Stitching Post? Maybe someone else can come up with that with more info.

LaJuan Sukochi Lee: Ok, CC, looked again. Are you drinking your cough meds by the gallon?, or are you drinking hot toddies one right after another?. There is NO polar bear on your window. Now, be a good CC and go back to bed. Oh...... wait....leave that bottle here! I think I might feel a cold coming on.

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

I'm impressed with your research, Ramona. Looks like the quilts the hunks are wrapped in are for sale, interesting prices.

Does anyone own Machine Quilting with Templates with Kimmy Brunner? Wondered if it would be helpful to a beginning FMQer?
