I received an e-mail today with a link to 100 free quilt patterns. It didn't appear that a person needed to join anything to access the patterns. There is a good variety for both beginners and advanced quilters and several different techniques. Enjoy!

Georgetown, CA I'd Rather Be Quilting
That is a good site. I refer to it often. I'm making a checker board quilt that I just got off the site yesterday, but like my favorite saying "patterns are only suggestions"; I've made many modifications to it so it's going to be more like a roll-up game. I'll post when I finally get it done. It's different than the game they suggest too.
Thanks I checked out some quilting designs
Quilting My Rainbow
I downloaded all three of their ebooks. My sister is going to make the Quilted Heart for a friend who is very sick. It is in Micellaneous QQuilt Projects, the 7th item down. It is a little heart with one side not complete. There is a sweet idea for a note to go with it. Wendy will change the wording of the note and send it to her friend. I will make up several, though hope I won't ever need them, to give to those who who become very ill that I know. It is darling.
I love this site. Can't wait till I have time to make some of the quilts on the site.
