Hi bennimac it is nice to meet you.

I would ask if I could put a card at the LQS, you could also try the paper. I have a friend who sells her quilts on ETSY online. There are several options out there - good luck.

Bennimac,

the Pine Tree Quilters Guild may be able to help you locally. There are chapters throughout Maine. Their website will show you if there are any close to you. They have an annual quilt show that is very popular. Members might be able to help you get word out. They even have a place for you to swap, give away or sell items.

Etsy is a good place too.  One of my co-workers has a shop. It took a while to get customers but she's doing OK now.

Local papers may be a good place. Do you go to NH, VT or even up to Canada? Check out quilt shops that may sell your items on consignment.

I would certainly get a down payment for orders.

BTW, welcome to QCA. Where in Maine are you?
