Welcome Carole. We're a friendly bunch and love to pass on our love of quilting. I call my quilt studio my 'sanity room'. I have a husband with severe PTSD and when it gets too much for me, I head downstairs and sew. Even if it's just pressing fabric...it still relaxes me. If you need any help or have questions, just ask away. We have lots of people with lots of experience and someone will have an answer, or know where to go to find an answer. Enjoy yourself.

Hi Carole and everyone. I'm another newbie on this site. I joined the QCA couple of years ago but haven't done too much searchs to take advantage. I like some of the classes and the JoAnn Fabric discount. ha I'm trying to find my way thru here and would love to meet new friends. I have my mom living with me with alzhmiers so I don't get much time to quilt anymore but hope to make time this year. My best quilting friend for many many years passed away this fall and I have lost my umph to get started. Hopeing I will get encouragment and ideals from ladies on this site. She would be upset with me. Mary was a wonderful, fun loving, quilt crazy lady and taught me many things.
