Hi all, for those of you who made the Craftsy BOM and want to start quilting on your blocks we are going to be staring them in the FMQ group here. We will be using the quilting patterns of Leah Day form her Craftsy Class .Please go to groups and check out the discussion if you are interested . Thanks Barbara

Nice! I signed up for her class and haven't watched any of it yet. This will help me stay motivated. I need to finish the PP blocks and get the top assembled. Then I'll join in the fun!
Brigit, glad to have you joining us .
I would like to join in too Barbara! I still have the last two blocks of the BOM to finish (had to stop due to other commitments), but should be able to get those done before we get to them. I have watched all of Leah's classes (BTW I love her methods), so know what to expect, it's just the doing that is a problem for me...
I may not keep up with a one-block-a-week schedule, but I will certainly give it a go...LOl! I have a king-size quilt project in my future, so this project with the "as you quilt" method will be good practice for the larger one.

Maybe every two weeks would be better, what does everyone think?

No to worry everyone i'm not going to do one every week . Maybe every two weeks I want you all to have time to work on them without feeling rushed.
Barbara, what a great idea. I have been meaning to start that very same thing. Count me n.
Sounds like great fun ladies, wish I could join you.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love

I would love to Barbara, but right now I don't know how I'm going to sew. It is so crazy here, maybe after they start school I can figure something out. I will be a basket case if I cannot sew.
Spud ,ok just jump in at any time ,this is one that you really can't get behind in. Barbara
I just wanted to let you all know the first block has been posted in FMQ ing group . I hope you will jpin us in finishing up your quilt from Crafsty. BOM. Barbara
Barbara, could anyone who wants to learn FMQing do this along with you. Could it just be scrap blocks or just plain sandwiched fabric? Or, must you have a block pattern to folow?
Sukochi ,yes anyone can take part ,just make up a FQ into a snadwich and pratice the designs . I encourage anyone who wants to learn to join us .. Barbara
