Jeanine I love that quilt rack would he be taking orders by any chance... not that i could afford it but I love the way it looks and great functionality!
Quilting My Rainbow
My husband went and bought me what was left on a roll of wool batting it was almost 15 yards ... my son got me some fabric and a gift certificate to a local fabric store
Jeanine, it is such a coincidence, a friend of mine made me one exactly like that late this past summer. It was a great suprise. I have it in my sewing room with finished quilts and unfinished quilt tops on it. The ones she shows in the picture must all be smaller lap robe types because the ones I have on mine look a lot larger than hers. I just don't have walls in my house that aren't already taken up with paintings from my Aunts and others. Actually have very few walls. Ginny

I am keeping my dad to myself! Lol. He is getting up there in age and I am amazed he is still doing this. He is making one for my mom, too, but that will be the end of it.

Glad DD and I shop a lot and she gives him ideas! :-) We have 2 more Christmas' to go, my side of the family and then w/our kids. 4 Christmas' total! Love it!!!

I love the wall mounted quilt rack. Maybe I can make one for myself. I got new quilting gloves and a new iron. But the best of all, my Maryland uncle came for a Christmas surprise. He's here until Friday. Hooray! And as if that wasn't enough, little Bennie-man found his new, forever home (after 18mos.) Hoorah! It's a Christmas miracle.
I was totally overwhelmed and surprised by my family this year! For Christmas I got an embroidery machine and $100 for supplies to go with it. An open Hearts MOM necklace, Pandora beads for my bracelet, handmade candles, bubble bath and chocolates! For my anniversary on the 20th my husband bought me a double heart diamond necklace and $100 gift card.
While all these things were wonderful gifts, the BEST thing about Christmas was the time spent with family and friends. I was truly blessed all around this year!
Happy Holidays to all~ Erin

Erin, that Is a special gift. Wow.
I have a quilty gift coming, from a stranger, but won't get it till Sunday. Amy, our Pastor's daughter, is a house cleaner. She has been cleaning this lady's huse for a long time. The lady is elderly and a quilter of long standing. Amy told me, last Sunday, via Facebook, that she has a big bag of quilting "stuff" for me, from this swwet lady. I can't wait to see Amy on Sunday and get my present.
