All of those flowers on the south facing hillsides must reaally be a treat. Ginny

We've been pretty cold here too. Last Monday we got into the mid 50s then by Friday we were having s**w. Our latest round of the white stuff got started about an hour ago. we're expected to get over a foot of it.
at least our two inches is already melting.

We got 16 inches and it's freezing again. No melting until next week sometime. More in the forecast for tomorrow. Will it ever stop? LOL
We have had record snowfall here this winter. We have received 61/2 feet of snow this year. Today its cold and the winds are so high it is causing huge drifts on the highways roads closed all around our city and in Alberta there was a 60 car pile up. I have never heard of a pile up that large on the Canadian prairie.

I live in the Worcester area and we win the prize for most snow this winter in our area, over 100 feet!!!!! I'm ready to move to Florida with all the bugs!

OOPS that should read inches!
Nancy was asking for pictures of flowers - so here goes - first I woke at about 4 a.m yesterday and this is what I found when the sun came up...
then Yesterday afternoon when I looked out I saw this:
If I hadn't seen the snow with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed someone telling me we had snow. The flowers didn't seem to mind too much - they liked their blanket of snow and then the sunshine the rest of the day! Daffodils, hyacinths and crocus... the rest shoudl be showing their pretty faces soon.
Your flowers look awesome thea, I wouldn'tve believed it either!

Oh my, Thea, thanks for the pictures, I like the ones better after the snow melted needless to say. Promises of spring. Ginny
