Donna B:So enjoy another snow scene for Christmas eve:
Breath taking. Hope you had a good ski.

Kris: Hope you had a good ski.
Kris, yes we did...it was great skiing today in the sunshine! Tomorrow it will probably be snowing again, so this was a nice break between the storms...
Especially for MNNancy: We get XC skiers here from everywhere in the winter - even from Minnesota! The license place # has been erased for privacy reasons, but this car has a really mixed blend of bumper stickers too:
And no Sukochi, I promise, there are absolutely NO cows or buffalo in this picture!!! ROFLOL (There is a bridge in the background though...just so there's no further confusion. And those are trees between the cars and the bridge...and that is another car to the right of the red car... sorry, I just couldn't resist...LOL!)
Merry Christmas everyone,
Winthrop, WA
Jim wants to know if the bridge is for sale? HUH? I wonder if he has been in my drugs!?!?
BIG.... WHITE..... ANNOUNCEMENT: IT IS GOING TO S N O W. Here on Wednesday!!! : } : } : }
Quiet, Sukochi.......no, no to the white stuff. Not down here...don't want it. That's why I left upstate NY.....lol

Like in selling the Brooklyn Bridge? LOL!!! There are some people who would like to sell it...we are a tourist town of about 500 people with 4 bridges - 2 for cars, trucks, etc. and two for pedestrians only. There has been a lot of controversy about this new pedestrian bridge - but it really helps get the tourists safely from the town trail-head/parking lot to all the shops in town. So the businesses are not complaining one little bit!!!
We are suppose to get snow in Ava, for Christmas.

It's tempting to think about a road trip for some great cross country skiing, but the trick would be in navigating the snowy route between here and there.
Beautiful pictures, Donna!

Leslie : We are suppose to get snow in Ava, for Christmas.
Leslie, too bad you do not live in Wenatchee, WA! The Brother dealer there is having a promotion that anything you bought there from Thanksgiving through December 18, 2012 will get a 100% refund if it snows at least 2 inches on Christmas Morning. (They actually bought an insurance policy to cover this.) This includes machines and supplies, ie: design packs, stabilizers, threads, hoops, sewing tables, etc. No limit either!!!
Anyway, as of right now, their forecast is 90% chance of 2-3 inches for Christmas morning. There are going to be some very lucky ladies in Wenatchee tomorrow!!! Wish now I would have taken the chance and bought a new sewing machine table for my Bernina 830...but I didn't...sigh
Hey, Diana, you will get more then me probably as you are way up there. Exciting, huh???
Well the weather man was wrong again, no snow for me lol
We got a white Christmas. It's stopped now. Less than an inch I believe.
BAH! HUMBUG! NO SNOW! : {
LaJuan Sukochi Lee: BAH! HUMBUG! NO SNOW! : {
I'd be happy to share a few inches...if you can figure out how to get it down south to you...LOL!
No kidding, if we have one more large snow-storm, our snow plow-guy won't have any place left to shove the snow off the road, so we will have to have a big grader come in (think $$$). And it isn't even January yet!!!
