My Son and DIL and her Parents are in Montreal, Canada for the weekend so I went to the Weather Channel on my Ipad to check to see if they had snow in the forecast. I am praying they don't get snowed in at the airport for the flight back on Monday,
I enjoyed seeing the snow backdrop for the forecast but must say a picture is enough for me. All of you who have to get out in the snow drive safe and stay warm.
from TN
I hope your son and DIL will make it home safely.
I don't mind snow very much. I guess it is just a matter of being used to it. I just leave the house a little earlier, and drive slowly to work. We have snow in the forecast for Christmas, that would certainly be wonderful. What I have a problem with are the ice rains we get in January and February. I can do without them. If they wouldn't knock the power out they would be great for quilting.

I too hope your son and DIL have safe travels. We don't get much snow here, once in a great while; but, it would be nice for Christmas day. :)
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Bev,
I hope your Son and DIL dont get snowed in.
We do get snow but not lots, I love it if i dont have to go to work, but if i have to go out in it its not such fun.

Thanks Bev.
I'm at work and will be driving home in it in about two hours. We have precipitation forecast for everyday except Thursday this week.
I hope your family has a safe trip home.
Safe travels to all.
POST SOME SNOW PICTURES...I ALWAYS ENJOY THEM FOR Y'ALL IN THE SNOW COVERED CLIMATES!
Joni, you asked for snow pic's so here you go! This was last Sunday BEFORE we had our first big snow-storm with 10 more inches:
L to R: DH, me and DF... all cross-country skiers. We are not the fastest, but we do have fun!
(We are expecting another 8-10 inches tomorrow! )

OK, here is from this morning, and the wind blew some of the snow off the trees, but the sunrise was nice and now that we have dug out, I can enjoy the beauty.

My Son and DIL made it home last night about about midnight after so many delays and reroutes. I hope all of you who travel by air for the holidays have a safe and stress free flight with no delays or cancellations. I also hope those who are on the road have a safe drive with clear roads.
I don't know why that icicle one came out so big. But I thought they were so pretty with the light behind them.
Patti, these pics are absolutely beautiful. I love looking at the snow, you notice I said looking :) Thanks for sharing.
Patti, absolutely breathtaking, thanks for sharing.

Patti, How beautiful. You are so lucky. I wish we got more snow in North Georgia. I love to walk in snow while it is falling, or even after it stops. It just feels magical!
Bev, so glad your kids are home safe and sound with you. It is a scary time of year to travel. By, plane or car.
