If you are like me, it's nice to cut corners and save money where you can--so you will have more money to buy fabric! My mother, who is an avid quilter, showed me this tip to help save on interfacing.
Save used fabric dryer sheets as an interfacing substitute for small projects. For example, if you have a circle cut and it's going to be the center of a flower on a quilt project which needs extra support, stitch used fabric dryer sheet to rightside; snip an "X" in the dryer sheet, flip the circle to the right side showing--perfect!

Great tip. I have a tub of use dryer sheets that I use in just this manner.
Dryer sheets (unused) are also great for cleaning dirty irons. Heat the iron then press on the sheet. The sheet can still be used as intended.

sweet tip. I have a few sheets has nothing to do with sewing; I bought them to rub on Preston (now over the rainbow) when a storm was coming in, he was so full of static he shivered as the barometer would change.still miss him.
