Hi All,
Is there anywhere on QCA where there's information on upcoming quilting cruises and/or feedback on past trips.
Thx
MzA
I have not seen any of those here .I know Marianne Fons and her daughter do some you might check the F&P site. Barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
MzA - I think Patrick Lose has one coming up and Rob Appell has one that he is going to be on - but the only place I have seen anything is in the quilt magazines... Send a message to Jodie on the one she did for QCA - I am sure she will tell you all about it - not sure if she posted anything on her blog but she might have - it was however a few years back when she did it.
I used to read every bit of info on cruises when I would see them in the magazines.
1st you had to pad anywhere from $798 to $1500 for quilting part of cruise and then several hundred for the cruise itself, didn't seem to be any discount for such a large number of persons.
Definitely cruises are out of my range of spending. I sure loved the VB Retreat, if we ever have another VB Retreat I will definitely sign on.
There is a web site for them called quiltretreatatsea.com. I only found it because of a particular cruise that crossed my mind. It's with the Swirly Girls who are based out of VA. I did a MQ retreat with them once and liked them a lot. Their upcoming cruise is http://quiltretreatatsea.com/swirly-girls-designs-swimming-in-circles/
Sadly, I can't afford it, but it looks like great fun!
Just noticed the Swirly Girls retreat is sold out, but it looks like the web site has several other quilting cruises.
Hi Joni,
What is a VB Retreat?

Try sewmanyplaces. This website specialises in quilting tours. They have a free magazine called "Quiltposium" that's usually a fun read with lots of free patterns and sometimes recipes.
this was our Virginia Beach retreat last April. We had a great house on the beach for a week ,Lots of fun .that one will not be held this year as we are alternating it with the Branson Mo retreat . Barbara
Thank you MzA. I wish English and proper grammar would become popular again.
