My name is Cris and I am a crafter. The reason that I introduced myself as crazy is because I like quilts but not small ones. I want a quilt that I can wrap up in. Why is that crazy? Because I always pick the most complicated patterns and then redraft them to make the bigger and then try to figure out how much fabric which always leads to over buying and so on. But hey, it's fun to be crazy that way. One can never have too much fabric. I also do many other crafts but I can never do anything easy. So you'll probably see me here at least once a day checking in and posting on my blog what I have to do today and maybe some pictures.
Cris ,welcome to the club, an no that does not sound crazy at all .We have several members here that love those really big quilts . I think most of us here are fabricholics and sound like you are as well .LOL so again welcome to the club ,You'll love it here. barbara

BTW your kitty is beautiful, what's his/her name?
Hi Cris, it is nice to meet you. You do not sound crazy at all, I do the same thing so it always takes me a long time to get started on a quilt.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Cris,
Welcome to the group!!
Hi Cris.
Yes, there are a few on here who make quilts big enough to be tents one could live under. I can think of 2 off the top of my head. I have come to realize that my problem is I tend to make everything too complicated. And I will never make any headway on my stash as long as that continues. Or much headway on my UFOs for that matter.
But I look forward to checking your blog and looking at your progress. It might inspire me.
Welcome to this group. I have never had a better group of friends.

Cris, just looked at your blog. You absolutely must post some pictures of the beaded ornaments!
It is just a picture that I found on the internet. It is made of light rays. But I love it.

If this makes you crazy, I guess a lot of us on here are crazy. Welcome to the club. You will love it here and get a lot of inspiration and help and make a lot of friends. We all would love to see pictures of your large projects. Check out the "Show and Tell Gallery". Again welcome. I hope you have a lot of fun here.

Cris, welcome to QCA - you will fit right in with this "crazy" group of quilters. We have a lot of fun and you sound a lot like me - I do not like small quilts either and with a DH who is 6'3" and a son who is 6'2" - most of my quilts are kings... yep big quilts... I have been making smaller ones the last few years though - but we have at least 20 that are king size - enough that you don't have to worry about keeping warm.
Welcome Cris
