I to like the FQ idea for a gift . I'd be willing todo this as well . barbara
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Spud, Nana, Gini,
it would be fun to get together to work on those UFO but we er I would probably not finish anything.
I like Marie's idea. I would send a FQ to the winner. I have enough projects in progress to win but I'll probably have a repeat of last year. Never settled on which one to finish.
Was following this thread and like that you are having a UFO challenge. I think the idea of the fat quarter to the winner is a great idea. I do think that the winner should choose what type fabric he or she would like, for instance 1930's, civil war reproduction, or just a color choice. Those that enter the challenge could list the choice of FQ at start of challenge. Just a thought.

I didn't do much in the way of completing UFOs this past year and that needs to be a resolution for next year (and not a breakable one!!). The FQ might be the incentive I need - great idea!

Would i be allowed to join in, even though im International i wont win, but id like to take part, im more than happy to send fat quarters to whoever wins, i may even manage to finish my Wildflowers Applique quilt so that Gini doesnt smack me for not doing it.
lots of love

I would love to join a UFO challenge in 2013, since that is one of my goals, to finish my UFO's, and a cheaper way to support my quilting habbit :-)
Is there a specific discussion group for the challenge, and where would I find it?
This sounds like fun. I think I'd like to try it.

I would like to join in this time as well I've got so many in various stages of completion hubby is saying don't start anything else new this year until we get some completed, lol like that will stop me.
I was in a UFO group this year...started off good, got 1 done. Don't know what happened after that. The girl that won it finished 120. I can't compete with that. My problem is some charity needs so many quilts by such and such date, so I drop my projects and do those. And by the time I get back to my UFO another charity or the church needs something....so there goes my project back into the UFO pile again. I think I'll just keep an eye on you guys and see how you all are doing. Maybe this year I'll get one UFO done again.

Hi everyone! We are considering doing something different with the UFO challenge. Give me your feed back in the UFO group discussion.
