I have finished the quilt top (finally!)- it is the "magic tile" stained glass pattern. The quilt measures about 56 x 70 inches now. I always use 80/20 bamboo/cotton batting for my quilts and have been very satisfied with it, but this quilt is going to hang on the hallway wall, and I'm not sure about how this batting is going to hang over a long period of time. Does anyone out there have any opinions about which type of batting would be best for this application? I don't have a lot of experience in quilting - this will be my 5th quilt and I'm still learning-so any help will be so appreciated!
If you like your type of batting it should be just fine! They are all stitched into place and as long as you follow the manufacturers suggestions for distance between stitching - you should be just fine!
Thanks for your help Thea.

Hi Rara, it is nice to meet you.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Hi Rara Welcome to the group. I agree just follow the directions. I haven't used your type of batting I prefer the cotton polyester blends from Joann's as they go on sale more when I need them. On a tight budget when I do go shopping.
