On Nov 21, Joann's will have a sale on Pellon Natures Soft cotton batting.  It's a 25 yard roll, 90" wide for $99.99 which looks incredible to me. Plus the 10% I get off for the QCA membership would bring it down to $90! It says it's lightweight, breathable, needle punched with a stabilizing scrim binder.

I don't know what all that means. Has anyone used it? How does it compare to Warm and Natural which is what I've always used?

Mimi:

Okay.  I just had to share. I just got an email from Joann's saying my batting had shipped

I just got the same email. I was beginning to wonder. I think we are going to up up brackets over the door of my sewing room, mount a large dowel and hang the thing!

You do know the roll is 45" tall, don't you.  The 90" width is folded double and then put on the roll, so not quite so easy to just unroll straight.  But, it also doesn't take up as much wall space either.

I have my roll, but haven't even opened it yet.  I just stuck it in the spare bedroom closet and went back to my Christmas projects.  I figured it is what it is...

My roll is on it's way too.

I usually stuff it in a closet or corner standing in one end, it's maybe 10x10" of floor space. It's best kept away from kitties though, they like to use it for a scratching post.

Got mine yesterday!

It was just wrapped in clear heavy plastic like you see at the store.

It seems to be as soft as W & N but maybe not as tightly woven.  May have a little more stretch to it, but those are just my observations with it sill rolled up and pulling the ends away.

Interested in your comments when you get it

Mimi, I will be getting one but I haven't been notified yet.  I'm excited as well.  Will it fit under your bed, I'm hoping mine does, otherwise it will have to go up my attic if there is any room.  :  )

Oooooo, Marie, you crafty quilter!  That would be perfect.  DH will never look under the beds.  He doesn't even see the dust that is on top of the furniture.  Oh I like your suggestion.  Hope I have the clearance to do it.  Thanks.

So will it fit under a bed, Barbara?  Or do I have to start looking in empty closet corners?  You guys are making me so excited to get this batting.  Mine's not supposed to get here until Tuesday.  Boo Hoo!
