Hope everyone enjoys a sppooky good time today!  Gini, I love the pic! The red lighting really creats a great atmosphere for those little hams!

Jaci, your princess is a real beauty

I make my kids costumes. i figure that I spend about as much on them as we'd pay for the painted trashbags they sell in Walmart, and the kids get the fun of helping to design their costumes...not to mention they can choose to be somthing totally off the wall and be assured of having a costume for it (DS1 went as the purple people eater one year! I dare you to buy that costume somewhere...)

We still go door to door trick or treating here. And I still make homemade treats to take to the school party (Heck, with only 18 kids in the whole school, everyone knows who brought what anyway!!) But, alas, I am forced to give out none candy goodies this year. The little gobblins are getting pencils instead of Snickers but mostly because there are so many food alergies cropping up.

Quilters are people who strip so they won't go topless.

Jacy:
. I haven't sewn costumes for several years but this year I had a little princess that wanted to be Snow White.

Very pretty. Nice work on the dress Jacy.

No dressing up for me. We got candy (at work) from one of the nurses and her husband the chief of police.

DH gave out candy and from his stories it sounded like he had fun. He dressed up and scared the kids as they came to the door.

Gini, thanks for posting the pics. I don't do stairs so well so I did not see any of our trick or treaters.

Thankfully we don't have very much candy left...shucks

I had my regular swimming thing so my husband stayed home to dispense treats.  Of which not one child darkened our door.  One case of chips to the food bank.
