Hi Everyone,
Has anyone taken the Craftsy class Quilting big projects on a small machine, just wondered what anyone thought about it and if it was worth taking the class.
Any help much appreciated.
Lots of love

I have looked at it but haven't taken the class. Probably won't as I really don't have problems quilting my big quilts on my domestic machine. I hope that someone else can give you better info.

Frances I have the class but have not been thru it yet. One of the things I hope to do this winter. I got it when it was on sale .
EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Frances,
I've taken the other Free motion quilting class with Wendy Butler-Burnes. I really liked it, learned some new things and the best part is that they don't expire and you can post questions.
Good luck. Let me know how you like it if you do take the class.
I did the class and found it easy to understand with lots of tips . It's great as you can watch it as many times as you like! She is relaxed and she gave me the confidence I needed to do meandering.
I agree with Wendy. I am a new quilter (this summer). I primarily started quilting to help with making baby quilts for our church nursery. I loved the class. Gave me the confidence to FMQ a quilt that is between a crib and twin. I have watched the class twice already to make sure I was comfortable with quilting. Highly recommend it.
Thank you everyone for all your input it looks like im going to be taking the class.
Once again thank you so much.
lots of love
Frances--
This (and all the other Craftsy classes for which I've signed up) is a great class. I usually quilt even my large quilts in one piece on my DSM, but I like having the options that the class offers.

Thank you Pat,
Ive taken the plunge and brought the class, so we will see if it gets me over my fear of basting and quilting a quilt.

Most online classes are accessible as often as you wish. You pay the fee and then you have access to the class materials and video whenever you wish.
