EAT!! SLEEP !! QUILT!!
Geesh Barbara. I hadn't even heard that we are getting a big storm. Shows how much attention I have been paying to TV.

Nana, with Hurricane Sandy coming and the Arctic cold front moving down they are predicting a storm for the East coast worse then the one in the 90,s So I'm worried about all my east coast friends and hope you all stay safe. Guess this is going to be a bad one.
I guess I should check out the weather channel....LOL
Looks like a great time to learn english paper piecing by lantern light! I'm hoping something changes for this dratted storm!
Nana, it 's being covered by TWC and I saw a big report just a few minutes ago from GMA about the storm and they are letting folks know now , They are predicitng major power outages and alot of storm damage .
Tina may be a great Idea ,Or if you have a treddle machine make sure it working good .
I remember that storm in 89 called Hurricane Hugo - so if this is going to be similar I would be preparing Nana and all our other friends on the east coast - didn't like that one at all - in fact - left and moved to Japan so I could experience horrific earth quakes in stead...teehee... But get prepared - although I figure after the last 10-15 years we are all pretty much prepared. I know after living through HH I have had a compunction to have tons of water around - I think we have close to 50 of the milk jugs filled with water. To flush a toilet it takes 3 gallon jugs - I figured that one out...teehee... and bathroom toilets do need to be flushed at least once a day if not more...teehee...
Praying the storm fizzles before it hits the coast.
Nana: I guess I should check out the weather channel....LOL
Maybe so... Look up from that sewing machine once in awhile
Seriously though, I hope everyone stays safe!!!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Thanks, Barbara and everyone for your concern. I've been watching Harvey on TV and he's keeping us updated on Sandy. Haven't listened today but as of last evening there's a good chance we're going to get hit with at least high winds which is damaging enough let alone rain, snow, ice. The markets will be jammed this weekend. I think it's time for all the wires on poles should be buried under ground where they belong, much less damage and worry in that area but the fat cats don't have the money to do that. Can't even scrape up the money to fix our extremely pot holed streets. I have one on my street that if you happen to fall in you'll be lost forever, especially me "the elf".

I thought Romney had taken care of all of Mass. problems while he was governor....LOL>
Nana good one ...LOL
It doesn't look like this one will effect me too badly. It is too far to the east. I hope those northeast of me stay safe.

Thanks again Barbara. My son who lives next door has a generator and if it gets to that point I'll just relocate myself to his house. Lots of relatives in Worcester who might not get affected with no electricity, so I'll be fine.
