Thanks for sharing Rose. What beautiful projects.
Thank you for the eye candy this morning - I especially like the picture quilts - think one like that is in my future!
I really liked the Hawaian style blocks. I'm wondering how to cut the fabric out.
Quilting My Rainbow
Kris,
have you tried printing your pics with your printer? I recommend trying the Bubble Jet Set that you can buy through your LQS (or I sell it on my website, too). I also print pics for people so all they have to do is sit down and sew them into a quilt. I love photo quilts of vacations. What a memento!
IS2116,
you can use freezer paper and fold it like the snowflakes we made in grade school--that would get you some really neat shapes. I also have the Ricky Tims "hawaiian" style shapes that I sell on my website. They are a little different, but similar. The hawaiian quilts are quite popular now at the quilt shows.
Glad everyone has enjoyed the pics.
Custom Quilt Kits: Kris, have you tried printing your pics with your printer? I recommend trying the Bubble Jet Set that you can buy through your LQS (or I sell it on my website, too).

Yes I have. I made a memory quilt for my in-laws. I used bubble jet set /rinse. I still use the rinse to prewash muslin and for delicates.
Thank you Rose for sharing these pictures. It was great taking a walk through the show.
