Oh my gosh.  So many beautiful quilts.  One of my favorite things with the MQs is seeing what everyone comes up with.  Here's mine.  Will post a better pic later.

Beautiful !! Patti, love how those green and purples came together, this center deserved the keys. LOL  the focus fabric is so lovely, I've forgotten, was this a collection or did you actually have all these wonders in your bin?

I DITTO MNnancy's "Collector49, "sweet" is the first word that comes to mind when I see your quilt. Your fabrics worked perfectly with this design".
I love the softness this could easily become a baby quilt, or as Deb says ice cream, summer days with the a/c on high cuddled under reading a great quilt book.
You meant that right??
gotta love 73 today in So Texas.

MNnancy and MNcarol where is going NORTH from, in MN.. lol. DH is from Glenwood but, when we talk about going north we’re just going to San Antonio.. LMAO.
BTW I am a snowman fan but like Kris I prefer to stay warm and see the 'snow ground' in the news.. MNcarol your quilt is wonderful. I pieced the squares and decided to go with sashing just because I could not do the cut and sew anymore. Mine will be complete soon, Mother will return home on Sunday and I'll be back at her home to work more next week.
Happy Weekend everyone.

Patti, your border treatments and fabrics are the perfect finishing touch!  Very nice!

LOL Caryl Anne!  People underestimate the length of MN running north to south. It would take about 7 hours to drive the whole thing. Carol lives only 2 hours south of here, but she has a vacation condo on Gull Lake not too far from me which she'll be visiting this week.

I've never been to Glenwood, but it's close to Alexandria and that is a very pretty part of the state.  Does your DH still have family there?

I finished quilting the MQ7 yesterday...but about halfway through the quilting process, my bobbin came out of the case (I guess I didn't secure it properly as I had just put a new one in), causing a massive jam which resulted in a hole through both sides of the quilt.  I patched it as best as I could and continued to finish the quilting.  The patch on the front doesn't show, but the one on the back is noticeable.  I was really happy with the quilt until then, but maybe I will just have to keep it for myself now.  Maybe I could put the label right in the middle of the back....

So sorry Karla. You could put your label in the middle or applique something over the spot, I think JudyT had to do that and it turned out really nice. Hang in there!
