Thanks Nana, the borders make the quilt! Can't wait to get back to mine. I set it aside and started another one while waiting for directions. I'm not sure about this posting, if I got it in the right place.
Hi pbabolian, it is nice to meet you. I hope you will post pictures of your quilt and you are in the right place!
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
When I get it back on the design wall and learn how to post photos, I will.
I look forward to it pbabolian, I like your new avatar!
Spudgrandma: Kris:I read the posts in email but haven't been joining in the chatter very much I've become more of a lurker. Hoping to snap out of it soon. Well I hope you snap out of it soon, I've missed you! I did miss the part about school, what are you studying?

Working on my masters in Radiography. Hoping to be a Radiologist's Assistant. It's like a PA but works under supervision of Radiologist.

That is great Kris, how long does it take. I know you will do great!
Finished!!! And to think it's all made from my 'scrap pile', (except the outer border) I modified the white border to help keep it more rectangle than 'boxy'. The wider top/bottom borders also gives the quilter some 'creative space' to work with. I think it looks okay. Final measurement is 74 x 82. I liked the way this pattern reduced my scraps, so I'll have to keep it in mind for future quick quilts.
When life throws you scraps, make a quilt.
Very pretty Ramona!!!

Wow, Ramona, this is one of the prettiest MQ's I've seen. I didn't care for the pattern at first, but this is gorgeous, the border really sets it off.
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I finished my top today, I like how it turned out! I'm giving it to my daughters mother in law ( I think, cuz I'm getting a little attached to it)
Very pretty Ginny. I really wishing I could get mine done but I'm afraid it will not happen until after Christmas.
