Debbie, Wendy and Brigit, your quilts are looking wonderful.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Debbie,
You have placed your blocks together to get a defined shape in the center, so that shape can now be filled with a beautiful quilted motif of some kind. If you make that quilted shape area the focal point and do some filler quilting everywhere else, then the pattern for your block placement will be more defined. It will look beautiful!

Looking good Azhinova!
Thanks, Spudgrandma. I added the Golden colour and began to look a little better. And I increased the number of blocks to 48. I'm waiting for Step4.
Azhinova, beautiful fabrics and nicely laid out. It's really gorgeous!
In the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
I like the gold, good choice. I'm still not done sewing my blocks into rows. I can only do a row or two and then I have to go and do something else. I only have a couple more rows to go and then I can iron and sew the rows together. I hope I'm done by the time the next step comes out... :)
Azhinova, I love your colors and you are right the gold fabric was the perfect addition.

Pat, I could not remember if I had said Hi or not, if I did it does not hurt to hear it twice - Anyway, Hi and it is very nice to meet you.
I'm going to take a quick break and have a cup of tea - I got all my blocks together and the 1st 3 rows.... Woo Hoo
Debbie, I find your layout very interesting. I think my top has too many lights in it and I think I may try a layout similar to yours, thanks for the idea. BTW, I like your colors.

Brigit, very nice!
Azhinova, love it!
Zsofia: Finally The site is fixed. Well this MQ is definitely not my favorite. This design is not my "cup of tea" so I changed it. Here is a picture of my design: I'm still working on the last row. The panel will be 45 " square. I will add borders. Zsofia

LOVE this! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for sharing! I haven't done anything with my blocks yet as I wasn't loving the layout either. I saved your picture to refer back to....I sincerely hope you think that imitation is the highest form of flattery!
