gini: everyone's quilts are turning our very nice. this is a great easy pattern. this step was just what i needed to finish the fairy quilt, so i went ahead and stuck the fairy in the middle and added the borders. i will add one more large purple border to the outside and hopefully get it basted this week. thanks nana, this was perfect.

as I indicated before, I was not happy with the layout of my MQ7, so I took a page from someone elses book, (dont remember who it was) and tried out a panel, what do you think about this???? I like it but getting it to fit might be a challenge for this rookie. I will probably but a narrow black border around the entire thing like the panel before I add the actual border Nana has planned for us.
Here are the 1st 5 rows of mine, the rows are not sewn together yet.
