Marsha, I remember that line , it created a bit of a stir. It should work just fine such pretty shades of blue. I have finished mine. now to wait again. That the problem with MQ's we wish our weeks away waiting on Fridays.

Well this week we have Thanksgiving to distract us, so the wait should not be so long :)
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Spudgrandma:Well you know about the best laid plans - I did not get them all cut, every time I pass the cutting table I try to cut at least one, but don't think they will get done today.
i carefully lined up the left edge of the pieces and cut ten at a time. i staggered the seams so it wasn't too bulky,

Thanks, everyone, for the encouragement with the blues. I am really getting out on a high limb here. Not my usual safe colors, but that's what this is all about, isn't it?

Wish I could do that gini, I don't have enough feeling or strength in my hands so I do better one at a time. Doing multiples is a great way to do it though...

That's true and with my DGD's 2 nd birthday tomorrow , we're combining her party with Thanksgiving since all the family will be together that day. I'm sure when she gets a little older she'll have her own day but for now she doesn't know or care. Her's a picture of my sweetie.
She is adorable Bonita!! Have fun tomorrow!
How lucky you are to have the pitter patter of little feet and so cute.
I read the instructions for this week and then read here, am i doing something wrong by just sewing two fabrics together at a time?
Quilting My Rainbow
I'm confused with staggering seams how did you do this?
Do we cut just one 4 inch strip from the block?
MNnancy:You know, you could post a picture of your work so we could see if you went totally random or controlled scrappy.
Here is what I have so far Nancy and I truly did go random.
They're looking good Spudgrandma.
