Susie:I think I'm going to have to do my job first and get the binding stitched on,...darn it anyway!
Susie, binding the black and white got my vote, right away...always good to get one FINISHED...narrows down the field for the next time you have to make this choice! Have fun!

faith422:I'm still trying to get started, just join tonight
Hi faith and nice to meet you. I'm happy you have joined us.
Life is like a quilt...bits & pieces, joy & sorrow, stitched with love
Brooke:YEAH!! I have all my bricks stacked to sew but have to wait until nap time to sew it... It's so horrible having to wait sometimes ;)
Brooke, that is awful to have to wait again, hang in there.
Tracy:Well, step 2 is rather uncomplicated, isn't it? I could get used to this!
Uncomplicated was a requirement for me LOL
Carmen: Have a very Blessed Day.
Hi Carmen and nice to meet you. You have a blessed day also.
Got the directions for Step 1 copied. I so wish that I wasn't at work today, so I could get started on it, but alas, it will have to wait until tonight. I'm also going to attempt the new Bonnie Hunter Mystery "Easy Street", but I'm having such a hard time picking fabrics. At least this step will be easy and I can stress about the colors for the other one later.
I also wondered if we should not match the same values when sewing them together.
Hiya ladies!! I just found out about the new mystery quilt last night, so I'm a bit behind the times. My mother-in-law is here visitig and so we each plan to make one. I'm excited and planing to get my fabrics together today and start cutting. Let the fun begin!!!
Snugglebug, it's nice to meet you! Yep, just jump right in, the water's warm! :)
Jean:I so wish that I wasn't at work today, so I could get started on it, but alas, it will have to wait until tonight.
Jean, I'm in the same boat...but will have to wait until Sunday, it looks like, grrrrr!
Hi Snufflebug, welcome and it seems I didn't welcome Jean either so welcome Jean. Did I even welcome Tracy? This getting old and senile is the pits, so welcome to all the newcomers I might have missed. ENJOY!

Tracy, where in Western MA do you live? I'm in E MA near Boston.
Busy searching thru my stash...just can't find anything that 'trips my trigger'!!! I'm just north of Missoula so across the divide from Great Falls. Originally from Rochester MN so another transplant out here! Back to my piles...
Hi Marie! I live in Palmer, just in between Springfield and Sturbridge.
And if it's any consolation, I have only been welcoming people at random, myself, so no worries! Hopefully I haven't insulted anybody by leaving them out...but just in case, I'll just say now: WOW! It is SO nice to sew with EVERYONE here! :)
Jean, I'm also in the same boat. At work today, planning to start Step 2 of MQ7 tonight and also picking fabrics for Easy Street at some point. I will check out the scrappy group to see if there is a thread about Easy Street. I've seen people talking about it in an existing scrappy thread. Maybe that's where I need to look.
Jean:I also wondered if we should not match the same values when sewing them together.
Jean, Nana said somewhere else to just put them together randomly.
