I really like scrap quilts. I am curious that if I took 40 different 5 1/2 in x 9 1/2 in, 40 different 3 1/2 in x 9 1/2 in, and 40 different 2 in x 9 1/2 in, what kind of scrappy quilt would this make?

I don't know the answer to that Candy, but it will be interesting to find out - I guess that is why it is a mystery... :) Then maybe Nana will give us an answer or at least a hint...

Barbara,
Originally i was going to use these.
I had been saving these to make a Hawaiian quilt from, so after thinking it over im still saving these for my Hawaiian quilt (one day). If only Nana could do a Hawaiian Mystery quilt then it would solve all my problems...... Nana are you listening. :)
lots of love

Love everyone's chose of fabric, it's going to be some beautiful quilt from this MQ7. Here's my choice, it's from a twice the charm pack( first pic) but it only has 26 strips so had to add 4 more. The one on th top at the right is really alight cream not white. (2nd pic)
Now that I se it in the picture I'm not sure about the small floral, 2nd one down on the right. What do you all think?
Belfrybat, I have that exact same fabric, top row 3rd from the left. The one with the daisy's. I bought it for backing.
gosh Bonita, I don't know. Have you tried tucking it in among the other pieces to see how it works? On its own you can tell the colors are perfect but the eye is drawn to the smaller size of the print. Would that be a bad thing in the overal quilt? It may just add some unexpected dimention to the quilt!

Beautiful choices everyone. I am not sure what happened with my post last nite? Anyway machine is acting up, never have gotten around to getting that back up. Every time I go looking my old machine starts behaving. Well I just took the plunge, it will be here before thursday. I really hope I made a good choice. I am fond of singers, like I always say, grandma used a singer, momma used a singer, bought mine 30 yrs ago.....so here is the singer that I just pushed a button and bought
Does anyone know anymore about it? I sure hope it is good news, if you do

I see no reason why you can't do a totally scrappy with this pattern. I think it will be pretty to make each strip a different fabric.

Congratulations on the purchase of a new baby. Hope she is all that you dreamed of.
