Very nice Marilyn! I love the quilting, nice job! Are some of the blocks appliqued to the top? I got a close up and it looked that way.

It will depend on how many 1/4 yds you have in the bundle. And you may be fine. I have done the math on this so many times and it seems like each time I get a different number....I think my calculator is on the outs...LOL> I think you will be fine. The requirements and cutting instructions will come out sometime after midnight tonight.
The pattern is by Missouri Star Quilt Co. and it wasn't written with everything just right. It definitely wasn't at the publishable stage. I have tried really hard to get everything into understandable instructions.

How do I find MQ7? Please help

The workshop will be in the left hand side of your homepage. The group will be up and running in the morning and I will post a link in this thread. When you go to the group you will just need to join like you do for any other group. We will keep this thread for general chatting.

There are 12 1/4 yard cuts in the bundle.

To use 1/4 yd cuts you would need at least 15 fabrics. to be able to make 6 rows of 5 blocks. And I really don't think you would want to go smaller than that.
great quilt, marilyn

so would they all need to be different? Since I already have 12 that blend together in the bundle, I may be able to find 3 (will that be enough) FQs that will go with the bundle? I so appreciate your advice as I am such a novice when it comes to values, scale, etc., and in determining what qualifies as light, medium and dark. sometimes what I think is a medium is considered a dark and vice versa. Thank you for your patience
Sounds good I have waiting for this MQ7.
Thanks for setting it all up.

Love the name for this MQ7. I am looking forward to this. Will there be a kit for this from MSQC? I don't have much of a stash that I can use, just a lot of material for planned projects.
Thanks Nana for all your work on this!!

Marilyn, I love the Canadiana Quilt. Was the a group effort? Or did you do this yourself? Ginny
Thanks all for the compliments on the Canadiana quilt. It was definitely a group effort. Several of the girls in the Canada group and one gal from Nova Scotia and I did the blocks and One gal did the longarm quilting.
I'm back up & running! I finished the snowman swap, am working on my final RR border.
I'd like to give this a shot, but we'll see how it goes with the timing of it. I do have several tops that need to be quilted.
