Hi everyone.  I know this one is a little late getting started.  We just received the pattern so things are running a little slower than expected.  We are planning to "advertise" the new mystery quilt in the Nov 1 newsletter and will probably post fabric requirements on Nov 2.   This project should move quickly and I think you will enjoy it.  I will let everyone know more as soon as Mandy and I get everything worked out and set up.

Thanks for the update Nana, I've been watching for this. Don't know if I will do it or not, but will definitely check it out when requirements come out.

Hi Nana,

Sounds like you have everything well in hand.  Hope to be able to join in on this one too.  Thanks for all the hard work you and Mandy have done getting this off the ground.  I'll be at FFFF in Tennessee that weekend but I'm sure there will be time to get the fabric cut.  Can't wait to see what's going to appear week to week.

Hi Nana, I have a question, will there be a separate posting for the MQ7? or do I keep looking here? I have participated in two MQ but from the magazine not here on line. I await your answer, if you prefer you can contact me through a PM .

CarylAnne

When we get ready to actually start the Mystery quilt there will be a Mystery Quilt 7 Workshop that you will find in the left hand column of your home page.  This is where all the instructions will be posted.   There will also be a group set up for Mystery Quilt 7.  This is where I will answer all questions regarding the steps.  You will be able to continue to chat about the quilt and the process in this thread.  I hope this helps.  I will also try to point everyone in the right direction when we get started.

Hey all

I have been informed that Missouri Star Quilt Co. will be selling kits for this project if anyone is interested in using one of these instead of selecting fabrics.   I will also find out more info on this in the next couple of days.

I have been watching for MQ7 but timing is bad for me.  I'm in the middle of a cross country move so I'll have to wait for MQ8 and hope to have my new sewing room ready for business at that time.

Have fun everyone.

I think this time i will focus on completing all my other MQs while everyone starts a new one.  I forget the numbers already but I have 2 that just need quilting, and 2 tops that need completing.  But I reserve the right  to change my mind.

Nana, how long do these take, I understand that they probably vary but do you have any idea how long this one will be? I would like to give it a go, I think :)
