I have seen ads for two different portable sewing machine tables in various quilt magazines. It seems that they are only available online. I would like to see them before I buy, but also would like to know if anyone has one and what they like or dislike about them.
Gremlins are at work. Three identical responses showed up so I tried to delete one and it deleted them all. Thanks, that's the one I looked at first. The ads I saw showed how steady it was at any speed. But I usually sew at a medium pace also. Guess I'll go online again and try to decide.
Try putting a thin cushion, like the rubbery shelf liner, under the machine and see if that will help. I know you cannot put much under there or it will leave a lip on the top around the bed of the machine. It's worth a try.

In the keepsake quilting magazine they have a design plan for a quilting table and storage shelves. I don't know if you know anyone whose good with tools lol. But my boyfriend is planning on making one of his own design for me.
I have horn cabinets with airlift quilters dream from 90's really like it . drawback is its laminate and can chip or crack.

Carey, my hubby made mine out of a used table and it turned out really nice. I think it cost me abt $40. If you need to be able to put the table away, the folding ones would be nice though.

I'm going to add my two cents here in hopes that someone might know what I could do about my problem with my table. I bought the Janome table to fit the Horizon machine, it sits down into the table so I have a nice flat surface to work on. Unfortunately I am very short, under 5', and the table is too high for me. I raise my chair so that my arms are in the correct position when I sew and I have my foot pedal on a storage box but I'm forever slipping off the chair. Any ideas for this munchkin?

Marie, I don't know what to say except,"I want to see a picture". I'm sorry, I don't know how to help you. I also am vertically challenged, but apparently my Horn table doesn't sit as high as yours apparently does.
