Good morning! I'm a new member as of last Friday. My name is Jody and I live in Minnesota. I have been quilting for almost 10 years - I can't believe it's been that long! I tons of fabric and kits to complete that I'll be able to quilt way past retirement. I don't know - what else would you like to know about me?

Hi Jody. My name is Jody too! I've been quilting about 16 seconds! lol OK, a few weeks. Welcome to the site. Lots of great people here.

Will you be going to the Duluth Quilt show next June? My friends are taking me and I can't wait. We'll drive over from Michigan. Sounds like it's a big deal.

Do you ever have people spell your name incorrectly? I do - even people who've I worked with for years. I keep telling them that I'm the the "i" type of Jody. :)

I've been to the Duluth show and it's great! Bring lots of money!! I typically take a bus to the quilt show, but the quilt shop that I went with just went out of business. I'll have to look around for another one.

I've had my name spelled so many ways! "I", "IE", "EE" and as 2 words "Jo Dee" I just tell them it's the boy's spelling with a "Y"! Of course some ask if Jody is short for Jodine! Um, no.

Can't wait for Duluth! Already booked at the Inn on Lake Superior. LOL at bring lots of money. I hear that but while buying "stuff" is enticing I'm pretty good at telling myself: "put that down"! We'll see how long that lasts!
