Kris:
the quilt with the cat in the tree. It's called "Garden Party"

I stopped at Buggy Barn yesterday, on my way home from Spokane.  Bought the pattern for this and a pattern for that pincushion with bag to put by the sewing machine.  The Garden Party is a big quilt, 84x91.  I was thinking of making it smaller, reducing the size of the pattern, but then maybe I won't and keep the size as is to put this on my bed.  Maybe the only way I get a cat on my bed again.

Wow kris, whenever will you find the time! Between school and work you still find time to quilt.  You are my hero!

Thank you all for your prayers! It was so good to hear good news!          Okay, on to other things... I'm jealous Patti, as close to the Buggy Barn as I have gotten is on the internet, maybe the next time I come that way. I did go to a couple of small shops in LaGrande while there, it was fun, they were having their Shop Hop so kind of busy at the one shop but still fun.

LOL Elizabeth. I get hand work done at work when it's slow. Home work at home. My sewing machine is very lonely these days.

Patti,

several of us have this pattern now. We were thinking of working on it together in the appliqué group.

Spud

If you ever have the opportunity you definitely need to stop at the Buggy Barn.  It is an awesome little quilt shop and the owners are so sweet and helpful.

If you leave the Garden Party quilt big all those applique pieces will be much easier to work with....LOL>

Patti:

Spud had a scan on Tuesday, and was supposed to get the results yesterday.  I have not heard what they were but she was asking for prayers before she went.  Please pray for her.

Patti - Found out on Facebook that her scan were "NO CANCER".  She goes back in 3 months.

FANTASTIC!!!      HOORAY for Spud!   Crossing my fingers for her 3 month follow-up.

Deb, if you could tell me the name of that book you bought that I wanted and was to cheap to buy, I'll see if they have it here somewhere.  thats if you can't send it.  I am looking forward to cutting into that tower I bought.  How was your trip home?

I haven't gone home yet! I am in Texas having a blast with my brother Peter and his wife's family.  Love them.  I don't get home until Nov. 2.

The book is titled Tangled Up In Thread by Whimsicals.

I am sewing curtains and (unknown to me earlier) a crib double ruffle bed skirt for my neice.  Just went to her baby shower today.  Texans really DO do everything Big. Fun.

Can't wait to start all my new projects when I get home :-)

Loved your pis of your sewing room. Jealous.

Oh heck. I was talking to Peter and Laura while answering this.  Of course I can send you the pattern, you don't need to buy the book for one pattern. Sorry I forgot to send it when I was at Mom and Dad's.

And I spelled pics wrong.
