We didn't exchange blocks this year but some of us made row quilts. Each participant made a row and members of the group made rows based on the theme. Here are photos of the big reveal. First up Nana. She had a beach theme and this is the row she made:
and here are the rows made to go with it:
The row below Nana's is from Jacy. Below that and top left came from Judy E. The bottom left came from Elizabeth.
The next row quilt is Jacy's. She had a garden theme. Here's her own row:
And the additions:
The top came from Gini, the third came from Patti, the fourth from Donna and the bottom from Elizabeth.
Next row is Gini's. She had a bountiful harvest theme. Here's her row:
and the added rows:
The baskets are Patti's contribution. She's not finished putting her row together. The top came from Nancy. Here's a closeup of that lovely bird:
below Gini's row is Elizabeth's wonderful broderie perse row. Below that is from Donna B.
Next up is Judy E. Her row is made up of tiny log cabin blocks:
the other rows:
Gini made the row of pigs and Jacy made the hen and chicks below that. Elizabeth made the top left and Donna made the bottom left.
Beautiful work. I want to do a retreat here in Jersey coast maybe around Cape may sometime next summer.
Nancy's theme is also a garden theme:
The rabbit and wheelbarrow are paper pinned to it for effect. See the bluebird in the tree?
The added rows:
The top left came from Maggie and the poppies from Judy E. Top right from Nana and bottom right from Lisa.
Kris: Marie:Is it Gini's stash? Yep.

Next is Lisa. She didn't get her own row done due to illness but her theme is hiking, fishing, camping.
Elizabeth made the bear and leaves. Jacy made the top right, Judy E made the top fish and Gini had the bottom fish.
To all of you,
i have to say.... you all are fantastic quilters! Those are going to be treasures for sure.
